I was that round-faced, geeky, short girl who got picked on in school. And then that mother who struggled to feel good about herself after having kids. Helping women see just how gorgeous they are is near-and-dear to my heart. I cannot stress how rewarding it is to meet a client who is anxious about her session and then see how ecstatic she is with how they turn out, and how beautiful she looks in them. I do it because every single woman deserves to SEE just how great they are. And on top of that, boudoir is just plain fun!
Boudoir is so many things, and my honest to goodness favorite is self-care. Your boudoir session is about focusing on YOU. That can be hard for many of us ladies, especially if things are drastically different in your day-to-day life. Your session is your opportunity to have an empowering experience where you are able to feel as amazing as you truly are. Body positivity, ladies!
Boudoir makes a unique and absolutely custom gift, for yourself (yes, you can give yourself a gift!) or a partner. If you're a bride-to-be, a single babe, a busy executive who needs some "me" time, or a married mama with littles, your boudoir session will be a timeless and priceless piece of art.
Hi, my name is Mary and I'm a boudoir photographer. I'm based in Fort Worth, Texas. What started off as just an art credit (Photo Journalism 101) for me in high school, quickly turned into something that I was interested in after my teacher offered me a position on the Yearbook staff. I readily accepted, and since then have been working to grow and improve on my skills. (There's always something new to learn!) I have come to realize that photography is something that I want to do for the rest of my life; it brings me happiness and challenges me at times.
Now for a few details about my life. I have been married to the most wonderful man for just over 11 years now. He supports me in all that I do and I couldn't ask for a better partner to spend my life with. He is an amazing wedding & event DJ with Forerunner Entertainment. We have two daughters named Indie & Atlas that are the very light of our lives, and just welcomed a little boy named Milo to the family. We are a homeschooling, vegetarian family. So it's safe to say that we're weird, LOL.
If someone would have told me that photography wasn't an option for my life, then I would have opened a bakery. I spend an unusual amount of time in the kitchen. I have yet to master how to make enough food for only five people, though. I usually end up making enough to feed an army. I guess because I like to share?
